Patrick Levon Mahomes is a 29-year-old football player who recently became the second highest-paid player in the National Football League (NFL). By his junior year of high school at Whitehouse High School, Mahomes excelled in multiple sports, including football, baseball, and basketball. He threw for 50 passing touchdowns and was also a standout baseball pitcher. Many people thought he would follow in his father’s footsteps and play professional baseball.
