One of Manchester City’s Star Player Leaves After a Decade

The well-known Belgian soccer player Kevin De Bruyne is a top-performing midfielder recognized for his exceptional playmaking skills. Thanks to his talent, he gained fame as a star player for Manchester City, one of the Premier League's most popular teams. However, his time with the English club has ended, and he is now continuing his soccer journey in Italy.

De Bruyne started playing soccer in his senior year of high school for the Genk professional league. De Bruyne signed with his second team, Wolfsburg, in 2014. During his debut season with Wolfsburg, he became one of the best players in the league, scoring 16 goals and contributing to over 20 assists, breaking the Bundesliga record.

In 2015, a year playing with Wolfsburg, he signed with an English team called Manchester City. De Bruyne’s time at Manchester became one of his best-performing and most well-known years. He played for the team for 10 years and became a staple player for the team. In 2022, De Bruyne placed third in the Ballon d’Or award, one of the top awards in soccer. He represented Belgium at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, making his third appearance at the highly anticipated tournament.

Kevin has achieved many goals, including being named Player of the Year and setting league records. He will always be remembered as a fast, elite soccer player for Manchester City and the Belgium national team. After a decade of excellent performances with the English team, De Bruyne is set to join the Italian club SSC Napoli on a two-year contract. No matter which team he plays for, Kevin De Bruyne will always be recognized as a high-performing midfielder.
