Ace Bailey is one of the most underrated basketball players in the NBA draft, according to media reports. He had a fantastic college career and got drafted to debut his NBA career.

Ace Bailey was born on August 13, 2006, in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He first attended Boyd-Buchanan for his freshman year in high school, then transferred to McEachern in Georgia. With his impressive skills, Bailey was nicknamed “Mr. Georgia Basketball.” He earned the McDonald's All-American, Nike Hoop Summit, and Jordan Brand Classic honors.

Bailey was offered and committed to Rutgers University as one of the youngest players in his 2024 class. Bailey was listed at “6 '10" as a Rutgers, but at the NBA draft combine, he was measured at 6' 7.5 ". Bailey started in the majority of his games in his freshman season, leading the team with 17.6 points and 7.2 rebounds per game. His outstanding performances earned him a spot on the Big Ten All-Freshman Team and the All-Big Ten Third Team, which caught the attention of scouts.

Bailey made it to the NBA as the 5th overall pick in the 2025 NBA draft. The Utah Jazz selected him and began working out to enhance his playing style. He has worked with the two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo. Many critics have been saying that Bailey plays similarly to the famous player, Kevin Durant.
