Jack Tzus Are Small Energetic Dogs

A Jack Tzu is a very energetic type of dog that loves pushing its limits. Jack Tzus are smart dogs that know how to get your attention. This breed is very adventurous, as they enjoy exploring new places and environments.

A Jack Tzu is the mixed breed of a Jack Russell Terrier and a Shih Tzu. Similar to the Jack Russell Terrier, the Jack Tzu is a greedy and food-motivated dog. The Shih Tzu and the Jack Tzu both have soft and curly hair. The parent breeds of the Jack Tzu share similar traits, such as being small dogs, high-energy, and having big appetites.

Jack Tzu typically begins training as early as seven to eight weeks old. They need to go on walks as well as go to the dog park. If they’re left alone for too long, they will destroy your entire home. This dog breed makes a loving, energetic, and overall great fit for active families. With proper time and effort, the Jack Tzu can easily be trained.

Some opposite features from the parent give the Jack Tzu a unique look. Jack Tzu dogs are usually ten to 11 inches tall and 14 to 23 pounds. This dog can live up to 12 to 15 years, just like their parents. They also have different colored spots and fur, such as black, white, gold, and brown.

Jack Tzus make for excellent pets for families, their lively energy and active personalities make them great companions in daily life.
