That's A Good Word: Impecunious

We've all been there. You're at the store and see something you want, but you have no money. You're impecunious .

The word “impecunious” means to have little or no money. Furthermore, it generally refers to when one is broke over a long period of time or repeatedly. Impecunious comes from two Latin root words: in, meaning “not”; and pecunia meaning “money.” To avoid being impecunious in the future, make sure to save your money and learn financial literacy skills. For example, try only buying what you need. Only treat yourself to something nice every once in a while, rather than all of the time.
